I received this update on Bodhi in August 2010 at 7 months of age.
Hi Molly,
Hope you are well. I wanted to give you an update on Bodhi, and share some pictures. He's getting so big! He is the best dog in the world and I feel so lucky to have him. He is so smart it amazes me. As a new pet owner I didn't expect him to be this awesome. He knows several commands. He knows how to ring the bell to go out, to scratch the door to come in, to scratch his water bowl if he is out. He knows sit, stay, come, down, shake (the kids taught him that one), and up. He walks so nicely on his leash and enjoys going to the dog park. He happily jumps into the bathtub and loves the water. He is definitely *my* dog as he follows me everywhere; where I am, he is. He is sometimes stubborn, but I still think it is a good quality. :)
He loves his treats, and his toys, and every Sunday he gets a homemade waffle to eat with us.
His neutering surgery went well, it was done at Commerce Vet Hospital. He was feeling as good as new about day two. He did have a staph infection of sorts that had him on antibiotics for two weeks, he was good about taking his meds.
So anyway, as you can see I can brag on him for days. I'm so glad that I met you, and so glad to have Bodhi in my life. I hope to get him a little brother or sister someday.
Take care,
Kristyn and Bodhi
